The 2 main reasons why we browse websites in the internet are:

1. Looking For Solutions
2. Being Entertained

In the era of Web 2.0 where 2 blogs were created every seconds, we as the internet surfers, are overloaded with too much information. If you are looking for a website that just merely to solve your problem and give you answer for your question, I think there too many websites that serve the point.

Beside user friendly design, minimalist interface, has the solutions that I looking for, a website that has sense of humor will always impress me.  The concept pretty sounds like those creative ads that will put a smile on your face and able to deliver the message they wanted to deliver.

Websites that have sense of humor doesn’t really mean that you have put some sick jokes or funny photos, but it will somehow try to not be so serious in some of their featuress. I think most of the Web 2.0 website like Google, Digg Twitters and many tried to put in some message that will cheer you up (Remember the message that Digg display to you when you are submitting a new story?).

What do you think? Does your blog or website has this kind of sense of humor, which will cheer your visitors up beside providing the information that they are looking for?

I didn’t complete it. At least before this, I didn’t. But it’s really important. Well, I am talking about everything in life, but of course, since we are in the blogsphere, I shall put all the examples refer to blogging and internet marketing.

Why you need to complete a cycle of what you are doing? The answer is: To See The Result! To complete a cycle it might take you ten days, or ten years, but if you don’t complete it, you will never know the results.

Result not necessary always positive, sometimes result can take you to disappointment. Yet, success always come with trials and sometimes, luck and the other factor plays a minor part on it as well.

However, if you know the result, at least, you can somehow try to examine it and see if there is anyway can be improve.

Same to blogging and make money online. It’s not easy. There are no way in this world that can really lead you to the internet success if you not finishing the whole process. But if you complete what you are doing, get the results, learn from error, keep doing it with passion, and anticipate the glory day. It will come.

Blog and website can be setup within few clicks in Cpanel, but it’s not the complete process for ‘blogging’ and internet markerting. Blogging doesn’t stop after you click the publish button, did you follow what other experience blogger told you? Did you follow and really complete what they taught you?

Most of the time, you will be doing what you like until you come to a bottle neck, you stop, because you just don’t like it, and the process stop there with an uncompleted cycle.

Don’t stop doing, when you are facing problem, always try to overcome it, find a way to complete it, and confront the result with pride. This is how I encourage myself.

Since I don’t have any decent internet income from my blogs to share about, I am here tonight to share with you what I have spent for my blog and my purchase on some internet marketing tools for this week. (Poor Me)

Well, through out my make money online journey all this while ,  stuffs that I have spent money to purchased from the internet are domain names, hosting account, top-up Skype credit, an exit pop-up program for a landing page of mine, Copyscape premium credits, and also Associate-O-Matic script.

Most of it I still using except for Associate-O-Matic, which I didn’t carry on for the yearly licence fees. Maybe I can share with you my experience on the script itself some other day.

Back to the story, this week, I spent bought a new Wordpress theme on my blog which you can see right now and also purchased an Article Rewrite & Summision Combo called Magical Article Rewriter (MAR) and Magical Article Summiter (MAS)

The cost for the items are

• Wordpress Thesis Theme – USD87
• Magical Article Rewrite/Magical Article Summiter – USD80

It’s pricey for me especially if convert back to Malaysian Ringgit, but I have reviewed and consider for long time before purchase it.

Why I purchase it?

• Actually during the time I start up this blog, I was planning to modify the Kubrick theme to my own style like other bloggers did but it needs a lot of time for doing it, plus, Kubrick theme is not an easy theme to be modified.
• Beside that, when I browse around the blogsphere, I found out that there are many blog that I like are actually a Thesis theme. This  make me curious and try to find out more about it.
• It’s powerful function settings on SEO and easiness on changing design layout has also become one of the reason why I purchase it.
• Branding! I Take Lee advise on his post of 5-Ways-to-Build-Your-Brand Effectively. Using the Thesis theme, I hope it’s professional’s look will impress the visitors.

Magical Article Rewriter/Magical Article Submiter

• I have some domain names which are abandoned after bought it and I plan to put some articles on it and test if it can make some income via Adsense. Therefore, I need some tool to help me write and summit article.
• I can’t find any good and free article rewriter and submiter and I give up of searching for it.
• I love to play around with new software. I think this will keep me busy for quite some time and at the same time, I can add contents to abandoned website and test out it’s result.

How I find the Thesis theme and software so far?

Seriously, I am still tweaking on the Thesis theme and for the software, I didn’t really try on it. So, I will keep my comments and reviews in future post.

What laptop’s model are you using right now and how you find it’s product’s quality?

The standard laptop that used by my company for normal corporate users is HP Elitebook 6930P, switching from the previous model Dell D630.

In the initial stage of this problem, you can observe the white stripe (0.5cm-1cm) show on the bottom of the LCD display and flicks during the boot-up stage. You may also notice a very fast flicks on the central of the LCD on this HP 6930P when you switching from a websites to another when browsing the internet.

After few weeks or months later, the white stripe will begin appear not only during the boot-up but will on and off appear after login to windows, and ultimately when thing goes poorer, it will stick permanently on that spot.

To my knowledge, it’s not a display card nor motherboard issues as when you plug it to an external monitor (the standard way to determine the root cause of a laptop’s LCD), the white stripe won’t be showing, and HP will have their on site engineers/technician to change the LCD for you.

Yes, even the laptops are secured with 3 years parts warranty, however, the problems that occurred causing trouble to many parties. Why?

I am not sure if HP aware of this problem or not and I found out that the are many users complaining about the qualities this laptops and regards this laptop as an ‘Expensive Toy’. Hope HP will improve their product qualities on the next phase lift for this models.

If you don’t like what you are doing, you will most probably stop doing it, especially if you don’t see the result happened on your blog. (like my new blog and me ). But somehow, you need to keep blogging if you want to see the result eventually.

Sometimes you will be surprise seeing other bloggers writing new post everyday easily (even if some of their post is very short), and in the other hand, you are struggling to find a topic to blog. Interested to know how they do it? Well, I am a new blogger too, I do face the bottomneck like every new blogger does, but there are 4 basic ways that I follow to overcome the problem to blog and enjoy….

1. Write topic that relate to your blog’s title in depth or expand it vertically. How? Brainstorm and write down every information in main point related to your blog, which visitors will be interested in seeing your post. Don’t stop here! Expand your ideas that you write down, identify the sub-point and write about those as well. You will never run out of ideas on what to blog about, plus, you will getting more and more ideas.
2. Encourage your blog visitors to leave comments which are related to your posts. This is an easy way to get unique contents for your blog. Beside that, you can see there are some bloggers are very welcome new bloggers to ask them questions, and they willing to guide new bloggers.This is because, no matter how good you are, sometimes you will realize simple yet important points form your visitors’ comment and questions when you try to guide the new blogger. This is a win-win situation to new and senior blogger. The more interaction you allow on your blog, the more content you will have on your blog.
3. Always write your blog content in advance and save it so that it’s ready to be posted everyday! There is always reason why wordpress or other blog platform has the features for your to compose, save and publish the post on the date you decided, but why you still ignore it? For me, when I have time and fresh ideas, I will write enough blog contents that will be sufficient for several days. But I don’t store too many post right now, I am not able to because I am working on other project. I should improve on this.
4. Research and look for questions and issues that raised by people in forum that discussing in your blog’s niche, and provide solution that answer those questions on your blog. You can also easily address the hottest topics that people are asking in the forum such as Cari.com.my or Lowyat.net, of course, it must match to your niche or blog’s title. By providing answers and solutions in your blog. This will make your blog useful to your visitors because it will have useful information that your visitors are looking for.

Half an hour ago, a colleague of mine called up and ask for support on his laptop. One of the program in his laptop is corrupted and he needs emergency support, which is an re-installation eventually.

Normally when facing this kind of situation, problem can be solved within couple of minutes if I am around the office or using the internal remote control tools.

But hey, now is 10PM and it’s a bad idea to go back to office, even it’s not too far from my home, and the worse thing is, I don’t have my laptop with me, therefore I can’t use and internal remote control tools and access to our company LAN.

Yes. We can use other remote control tools to perform remote assistance. As far as I am concern, MSN and QQ itself has this function but normally corporate laptop (My colleague’s laptop) doesn’t allow you to have those programs, so I use TeamViewer to perform the remote assistance.

This is the best remote assistance tools I have seen. Why?

• No installation needed on target computer. (You, the one who wants to remote control to the target needs installation anyway )
• Fast. Connection from both side can be initiate within 5 minutes.
• Run under user right, in another words, no windows administrator right involved.
• Has others features such as transferring file between two computer and etc.
• The steps go get it connected are easy, this is important especially when you try to guide the other party via telephone.
• Last but not least, it’s FREE!!

Shortcoming?

• The earlier version (version 4) is not compatible with the latest version (version 5)

Now, below are some quick steps to establish remote control.

1. Go to the TeamViewer website
2. Download and Run the program accordingly. (It’s only 2.5MB so should take you less than 2 minutes for downloading)
3. At the same time, guide the other party to go to the same website, but don’t download the full version, just pick join a session will do, ask he/she to run it accordingly.
4. On the target computer now, it will pops up an small windows with ID and Password (Normally you will see the windows with blank ID and Password, don’t worry, it take 10-20 secs to be generated), ask the other party to give you the ID and follow with the password.
5. Now on your side, put in the ID and password, and start your remote control session!

I don’t provide screenshot on this  post because it’s really easy step. Performance wise, it’s really depends to the internet connection

Ooi Zhao Qian is a 7 years old little girl who was born and raised in Alor Setar, Kedah Malaysia.  Zhao Qian was born without upper limbs but a pair of deformed feet with defective skeletal structures. However, this didn’t stop her to go to school like other kids.

Zhao Qian learned to write using her feet since she was 2 years old. Therefore, she able to write using her feet even though it is in a much slower speed. Sitting on custom made wheel chair by her uncle, Zhao Qian interact normally with her classmates who she known since kinder garden.

I am impressed by her story, not because of the ability but the spirit she showing. God didn’t give her a complete body but she able to overcome all the obstacles and live life to the fullest with the assistance given and love showered by her family.

With a healthy body and the ability we have, are we also showing the same attitude like Zhao Qian did when facing the challenges?

Sometimes we get disappointed easily just because things didn’t work out but we shouldn’t give up, just because of that. I wish Zhao Qian all the best in her future and hope her story motivate you in your life, online or offline endeavors.

As a blogger or internet marketer, we always need to purchase domain names for our new blog or our project. Therefore, if we can purchase the domain name in cheaper price, it will certainly save us a lot of money especially if you buy it very frequent.

For me, I always purchase new domain name from Godaddy.com and I got almost 99% of my domain name from Godaddy. Why? It’s because  it’s a most reputable domain registrar that exist.

If you would like to purchase a cheap .com domain name at USD 6.99 (Normal Price:  USD10.69) from Godaddy, you can follow the below steps to get it.

1. Open Google main page (Yes, it’s Google’s trick again:-) )

2. Type in Godaddy and click Search (Yes, this sounds silly but please continue your reading)

3. Now, don’t bother what come in the search result.

Look at the URL, for instance you might get below URL

Add &gl=us at the end of the URL and click go again.

Notes: The tricks I show help you save few bucks, but if you are not intend to purchase, please don’t click on the ads as this is not ethical.

5. Now in the Godaddy website, proceed with your .com domain purchase like normal. You won’t see the offered price until you are about to check out. You will see it charge you for USD 6.99 and total price is USD 7.17

Now, you don’t need to purchase from an unknowned domain registrar for cheap domain or search for coupon code for Godaddy again. If you have another methods to get cheap domain, please don’t mind to share it in the comments.
